The waters within three miles of Montauk and Block Island are full of rock piles and shipwrecks to spearfish around. Species to target include: Striped bass, fluke, scup, blackfish, sea bass, trigger fish and bluefish.
Private Charters

Offshore
These blue water trips are primarily for mahi-mahi which usually run from July through September. Fish are commonly close to the surface and visibility averages 40-50’. Cost of fuel will be added to charter rate .
Regulations and Logistics
All state and federal fishing regulations and limits apply. The Sea Turtle has charter permits for both New York and Rhode Island. Divers are encouraged to be trained and experienced in Northeast and/or blue water free diving.
Departure times and site locations will be determined by the captain based on date of scheduled charter.
