Capt. Chuck Wade
Position: Owner/Captain           
Diving:
30yrs.
Bio: Capt. Chuck was born and raised on the eastern end of L.I.
and has spent most of his life on the water in one way or another.
Chuck's credentials include; USCG Master Near Coastal License,
PADI Instructor, Trimix, CCR Cave and Commercial diving
certifications. Diving is not only a business it's a passion!
Capt. Dan Giunta
Position: Captain/Mate
Diving:
22yrs.
Bio: Dan has fished, surfed, dived and operated boats in and
around Montauk since he was a young boy. Current winter
months take Dan around the world as a Merchant Marine
Engineer. Summer months always bring him back to his home
in Montauk. In 2004 Dan purchased his own fishing charter
vessel, the "Double D", which is slipped along side the Sea Turtle
in Montauk.
Jacob Hamilton
Position: Divemaster/Mate
Diving:
17yrs.
Bio: Jake has traveled the world diving exotic places like
Thailand, Honduras, Mexico and the Caribbean. Being a
divemaster, Jake is prone to answering questions and helping on
board in any way possible. Owning a local landscape business, he
always finds a  way to make time for the next adventure aboard
the Sea Turtle.
  
Brad "Buck" Bowers
Position: Shark Dive Mate
Diving: 10yrs.
Bio: Originally from up-state Buck moved to Montauk in '99
and instantly became infatuated  with the ocean. His extensive
knowledge of sharks and aptitude for fun make for an exciting
day of shark cage diving.
Ted McCoy
Position: Instuctor/Mate
Diving:
29yrs.
Bio: Ted and Capt. Chuck attended the same local high school
and both pursued careers in diving soon after. Ted's credentials
include: IANTD Technical Instructor, Megalodon and KISS
closed circuit rebreather instructor, CCR Cave instructor, Full
Cave and Trimix certifications as well as over 5000 dives. Ted
has also spent time managing and running dive operations in
L.I. and Saba, not to mention many trips to the Andrea Doria.
If your looking for an experienced diver, photographer or
instructor, Ted is you're crewman.
Jeremy Somero
Position: Mechanic/Mate
Diving: 10yrs
Bio: Where would any charter business be without a good
mechanic? Sunk or at least not running! Jeremy not only
enjoys his job as one of Montauk's best mechanics, he also
enjoys his life there on and around the water, waterskiing,
fishing, diving and building shark cages. That's right without
him there would be no shark cage as Jeremy is also a top notch
MIG/TIG welder. On many of his days off he can be found
crewing or just enjoying himself aboard the Sea Turtle.
 
Andy Koppinger
Position: Mate
Diving: 2
5yrs.
Bio: Andy was born on L.I. and currently lives in
Southampton Town. Andy dives a Hammerhead and
Inspiration CCR. Wreck diving, ice diving, beach diving, cave
diving, whatever kind of diving can be done, Andy does it.

Elliot Bertoni
Position: Mate
Diving: 13yrs.
Bio: Elliot has been diving since 1997 and has yet to find an
aspect of it he does not enjoy. Most of his dive time is spent
diving local shipwrecks, but Elliot also makes several trips
each year to the caves of Florida. He is currently diving a
closed circuit rebreather and does not miss carrying doubles
one bit!
Capt. Kevin Moen
Position: Captain/Mate
Diving: 20yrs.
Bio: Kevin splits his time diving/crewing between Montauk,
NY and Cape Lookout, NC. Seems pretty obvious he likes
wreck diving! Kevin is full trimix certified and dives
throughout the year.
Andrea Nydegger
Position: Mate/Divemaster
Diving: 22yrs
Bio: Andrea's true love of diving began about nine years ago
when diving out of Shinnecock Inlet. Many trips on board
the Jean Marie and frequent trips with us to Block Island
brought her into the technical diving realm. She is
currently making the transition to CCR.

Capt. Neal Stark
Position: Captain
Diving:
30yrs
Bio: Neal holds a 200 ton USCG master license. He is also a
PADI dive instructor. His maritime background includes
running coastal and harbor tugs, fishing vessels, research
vessels and just about anything that floats. Neal is currently
diving a closed circuit rebreather and recently completed his
full cave training.
Capt. Ralph Towlen
Position: Captain
Diving: 35 yrs
Bio: Ralph was born and raised on L.I. His life has always
been centered around being on the water. He spent his
childhood summers in Montauk diving for lobsters and
crewing for his father giant tuna fishing. He had a small
longline boat in Montauk during the late '80's but decided to
go back to teaching. Currently he splits his summer months
and weekends on his own light tackle fishing boat out of
Moriches Inlet or running the Sidekick out of Shinnecock.
